Arctium Minus (Common Burdock) in Billings-Kittredge Herbaria

Preserved biological specimen on paper.

Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Two Samples On The Page. The First Is A Very Large Leaf Which Takes Up Most Of The Page. The Second Is A Section Of A Stem. It Has Seven Groups Of Leaves And Flowers/Seed Structures. Each Group Has One Leaf And At Least One, If Not More, Spiky Flowers/Seed Structures. The Groups Are Attached To The Stem At Various Alternating Points. The Leaves Are Smaller Closer To The Top Of The Stem. There Is A Colored Drawing Of The Plant Showing Two Purple Flowers/Seed Structures And A Leaf.
