A dark brown leaf fossil in tan stone. You can see the edge of the stone above and to the right of the leaf. The stem of the leaf is viewed upright in the picture and a dozen leaflets branch off from the stem to the left and right. Although a fossil, it looks exactly like a modern-day compound leaf.
