Text reads: "Oh Yes Mom. I made sergeant the other day. Looks like I am going up in the ranks doesn't it. I make 93 and something a month now. I am going to try and ship my year books back and a few of my pictures. No telling if possible i might take a notion to go somewhere." I just got through writing to Martha McDay.
