Desmodium Canadense (Showy Tick Trefoil) in Billings-Kittredge Herbaria
Preserved biological specimen on paper.
Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are There Are Four Samples. Three Of Which Are The Length Of The Page. They All Have Many Oval Leaves Attached At The Stems. Two Have Flowers At The Top Of The Stem While The Third Has Seed Structures. This One Was Collected By Elsie May Kittredge. The Final Sample Is The Top Of A Stem, So The Stem Is Short, Has Eight Leaves And Several Rows Of Seeds. There Is A Colored Drawing Of The Plant'S Flowers, Most Likely Done By Elsie May Kittredge.
