Richard Proenneke Site
Lake Clark NPP, Alaska The combined woodshed-outhouse is located approximately 45 feet east of the cabin and modeled along the lines of an
Adirondack shelter. The south, east, and west walls are built from debarked spruce logs that are carefully saddle notched
at the corners on the north end. The outhouse is located at the southeast corner utilizing the side and rear log walls. Additional Resources:
