This is an historic black and white photograph from the Scotty's Castle Historic Photograph Collection, Death Valley National Park of a man holding onto a saddled burro in front of a large structure and wagon. Man is dressed in high topped hat, coat, shirt, and jeans tucked into high-top, laced boots. Burrow had bridle with blinders, western saddle with breast collar and rear britchen. Buckboard style wagon with wooden crates and pack behind burro. Simple, large, two-story stucco building with many windows. Number in black ink in lower left corner.

Looking down north side of Main House at stairway. Man looks like photographer and author Dane Coolidge but his recorded visit was earlier in 1918.
