European Brown Trout caught by Albert Skelton on September 28, 1924 along the Merced River near Pohono Bridge. This was one of the first fish collected by the Yosemite Museum, and is the longest at 29.5 inches. This and one other large fish captured the same year were exhibited in the early years of the museum.
