A concrete sidewalk ends near the bottom of the photograph. Beyond the concrete sidewalk, the trail transitions to a light brown colored gravel trail. There are multiple black tarps in the center and to the left while a bright orange tarp is on the right. Many large boulders are in the distance and the gravel trail goes around many of these boulders.
The new accessible walkway that runs along the summit of the hill is complete. This accessible walkway ends with a circle-shaped design just to the north of Hazlettās Battery. This extra space will allow anyone who utilizes a wheelchair or other mobility device ample room to turn around. Beyond the circle the walkway becomes the stabilized aggregate surface. This surface change denotes where accessible trails and inaccessible trails meet.
