Two coast tarweed plants, each with a single yellow flower blooming. One flower has eight evenly spaced petals while the other has only six petals visible. Each petal has an outer edge with three lobes. The center disc flowers appear as yellow and brown specs. Green elongated leaves extend from closely to the stem. The leaves are covered heavily with white sticky hairs.
