Images were contracted by the NPS Office of the Chief Information Officer as part of a larger project to add images of all Civil War monuments to the NPS Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System

East Inscription

U.S. National Park Service

34" x 22.5" x 46" high, marker is a rectangular slab of red Montello, WI, granite on a gray granite base. Lower 3/4 of slab is polished with inscription, upper 1/4 is unpolished & sculpted with bas relief of shield over crossed rifles.
