Commemorative monument erected in honor of those who served & died during the Battle of Antietam on Sept 17, 1862. Dedicated to the 14th CT Vol Inf, 2nd Brg, 3rd Div, 2nd Army Corps.

Structure Number: 108 || 15'high granite obelisk atop 4'sq base. Front bears clover leaf, badge of 2nd Army Corps Badge. Rear face bears the CT coat of arms and US emblem. Located in a field 100 yards N of Bloody Lane. || Built in 1894 possibly by the State of Connecticut
