Glass Pound Beads - GRPO 14564

A string of turquoise-colored glass beads.

Archeological excavations at Grand Portage National Monument have recovered over 13,000 glass beads. Pound beads, such as these featured here, are the most common in the collection and the turquoise color is second in abundance only to white.
