September 27, Little Round Top Update

Lush green grass lines the slope of a hill between large boulders in the foreground and along the right of the photograph. Portions of two Civil War era cannons and a tall grey stone monument with a bright orange tarp wrapped around the bottom of the structure line the crest of the hill.

The new grass on the north slope of Little Round Top has taken hold and additional native grasses have been planted along the edges of the stabilized aggregate trail.
