Frog with green back and gray sides hangs onto a vertical green leaf.
If you have ever heard a 2 to 3 second “creek” coming from the trees and shrubs while walking in the Cuyahoga Valley from late April to late July, you have probably heard the gray treefrog. Despite being large for a tree frog, gray tree frogs are hard to see because they blend into their surrounding by changing their colors. This image shows how vivid green the gray tree frog can be.
