A single bright iridescent magenta flower blooming in the lower center of the photo. Several more magenta flowers are blooming in a line behind it. Each flower has hundred of thin long papery petals surrounding a large center of dozens of yellow stamen and a single pistil. The flowers are surrounded by a field of upright, thick and finger-like fleshy leaves. The leaves are mostly green and turning reddish at their tips. A strip of sand and water from the bay are behind this field of iceplant.
