A wooden-planked walkway bisects a lush, verdant carpet of meadow at the edge of a dense wood. Wildflowers dot the grasses in the shadowed foreground.
Plank boardwalks were constructed along both the Snake River and the Around the World Trails to traverse the low lying areas created by the formerly braided channels of the Snake River. Some of the planks have been replaced due to rot and breakage, but otherwise the structures remain in place.
