Goat's Beard

Spiky white blooms of goat's beard are bright against a backdrop of green foliage.

The Chilkoot Trail changes from coastal forest at sea level, to high alpine near the summit, to boreal forest towards the Lake Bennett end. Goat's Beard, Aruncus dioicus, is one of the wildflowers that blooms along the trail.
