Severn's Studio: Knightia alta
A dark brown fish fossil with almost black face faces left on a stippled tan stone. The fish is football-shaped. Below the fish is a centimeter ruler and the edge of the rock is visible on top left and bottom right.
The deep-bodied Knightia alta was more common in contemporary Lake Gosiute than in Fossil Lake. Specimen is approximately 11 cm long. Catalog number FOBU13444.
