Hunt Sir I have written a number of times to you but have receiv’d no answers I must naturally think that there is something wrong or becaue you are negligent I think sir as I have property intrusted in your care I am intitl’d to an answer to My letters I will thank you to inform Me respecting those segars please to inform Me how Much Money you left with Mr Hoyt for Me at the time [I saw?] you in New York and how Much is now owed for those segars you have sold since and how Many remaining on hand now Do write imediately and let Me know the particulars of this business for Mr. Weed is the Man that I am accountable to for those segars and he has called on Me for Settlement a Number of times and [illegible] keep [illegible] him of untill I can hear from you – Do write immediately – Wm S Wood" On back of document: "Wm S.
