Scutellaria Galericulata (Marsh Skullcap) in Billings-Kittredge Herbaria

Preserved biological specimen on paper.

Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Three Samples On The Page And All Have Been Cut From The Rest Of The Original Plant. All Consist Of A Single Stem Which Is Lined With Pairs Of Pointed Leaves. The Top Third Of Each Stem Also Has Flower Blossoms Extending From The Same Places As The Leaves And At The Apex. One Of The Samples Is Much Longer Than The Others And Is Bent To Fit The Page. The Sample Was Identified By The N.Y.B.G. According To The Pencil Inscription In The Bottom Left Corner Of The Backing Sheet. There Is A Colored Drawing Of The Plant Showing Its Purple Flowers.
