We did not go to the Falls to see Uncle Tom’s played as the weather was too cold those that went were all very much pleased Father is better than he had been for some time he has been taking Dr Childs Medicine he says he feels younger than he has for a month." On back of document: "I hope he will not have any more dizzy spells I have the head-ache this morning so thee must excuse the writing Sarah is going to school so she can not write and if I dont put this in the office now thee wont get it to-night I will write again in a day or two We received thy letter yesterday write soon again we enclose $5 for thy board and we will pay the balance if there is any.
