North Bronze Plaque
U.S. National Park Service
The rough-hewn base measures 7'4" x 4'2" and supports a block that is rough-hewn on 3 sides for a total height of 5'6". The smooth front bears an inscription, the rear a bronze plaque. The top angled section reads "ILLINOIS" in raised letters.
