Rim Drive Historic District. Views along the drive were meant to capture the essence of the scene, whereas vistas tend to center on distant objects and use framing devices. Here, vegetation frames a view of Phantom Ship from the Kerr Notch observation station. Kerr Notch is one of the lowest points along the Crater Lake rim.
