Exact date unknown. Pictured: Manie and Lanie enjoy a light-hearted moment with a squirming dog. They are probably at the redoubt, situated on the hillock above the old U.S. Army camp that later became the Firth family farm. Manie would marry Joe LaCappelle in a few years and together they would run the farm until 1923.
