Photo pair shows regrowth of vegetation in the cut and fill area of the railroad right of way, recovery of the area impacted by a possible forest fire, growth of vegetation on the lateral moraine of Laughton Glacier, an increase in deciduous species, and an upslope advance of spruce trees and other vegetation, as well as thinning and retreat of small alpine glaciers, and removal of wooden trestle. View southeast toward Glacier Station from south of Glacier Gorge on the WP&YR Railway along Tunnel Mountain. The lateral moraine of Laughton Glacier is visible in the center.
