Marine Debris Display: Kenai Fjords National Park
The Kenai Fjords visitor center with marine debris display out front. The display features a life-sized metal scultpture of a humpback whale with colorful mural painted on a low wall beneath the sculpture. To the side is a display on wheels with interpretive panels.
The display at the newly renovated visitor center at Kenai Fjords National Park consists of two parts. The first is a mural depicting the connection between coastal fjords and marine debris, a beautiful addition to the existing humpback whale sculpture. The second part is a mobile display that engages visitors in audience-centered interpretive experiences.
