Affidavit of Publication M.C. Inlow being duly sworn, says that he is the Foreman of THE REVEILLE, a newspaper printed and published weekly at Hill City, Kansas, and of general circulation in said county, and that the notice, of which the annexed is a true copy, was duly published in said newspaper for a period of six successive weeks, to wit: December 19th 1884 January 9th 1885 December 26th 1884 January 16th 1885 January 2nd 1885 January 23rd 1885 [signature] M.C. Inlow Subscribed and sworn before me, this 29th day of January 1885. [signature] W.R. Hill Notary Public [illegible writing] $5.87 [Attached Article:] Land Office at Kirwin, Kans. December 12th. 1884{ SS: Notice is hereby given that the following-named settler has filed notice of his intention to make final proof in support of his claim, and that said proof will be made before Register or Receiver at Kirwin, Kansas, on January 30th, 1885, viz: CHAS. PAGE Hd. No. 16846 for the ne qr [quarter] sec 1 twp 8 range 21 w. He names the following witnesses to prove his continuous residence upon and cultivation of, said land, viz: Willis Lea, Jacob Martin of Logan, Kansas, Henry Smith, Jack Fletcher of Nicodemus, Kansas.
