Evaporation catches sunlight behind a backlit Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces, leading to a stark and saturated bright outline. Steamy water cascades down the terrace.
This photo was taken in the fall at the Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces. This was one of the many wonders that we enjoyed in the park during our visit.
