59th Presidential Inauguration Support on Park Land
A wide pathway leading towards the Capitol is lined with spaced lighting stands, event staff, and state flags on flagpoles. A rectangular blue structure holding up a horizontal U.S. flag is on the grass lawn next to the pathway. The Washington Monument is in the distance.
Organized by the Presidential Inauguration Committee, presidential inaugurations involve the support of many partners to assist with a variety of tasks to make them happen, including planning, setup and cleanup, communicating information to the public, health and security resources, and day-of event support to make the festivities a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors and workers. See behind-the-scenes support on park land before, during, or after Inauguration Day on January 20, 2021.
