Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Handwritten Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Is One Sample On The Page Which Has Been Broken Into Three Sections To Fit. The First Section Has A Knob Of Roots Leading To A Stem With Three Leaves Attached. The Second Section Of Stem Had Leaves And A Few Off Shoots With Flower On Them Attached, But They Are Far Apart. The Last Section Is The Top Of The Plant. Its Off Shoots Are Longer And Have More Flowers. There Are More Off Shoots And Leaves, And They Are Placed Closer Together Than On The Second Part. All Of The Off Shoots Have Small Leaves About One Centimeter In Length. There Is A Pencil Inscription At The Bottom: ''Vimineus, Lam. Var Foliolosus (Ait.) Gray, Not Recognized In [Migand'S?] Treatment', Letter From C.A.W.'
The Species Has Been Identified As Aster Vimineus Var. Foliolosus.
