Junior Ranger, Jr. families participate in creative play with a park ranger at Sarah's Vineyard. This activity is part of the Butterfly's Breakfast program. Children ages 4-6 dress up as butterflies sipping nectar from flowers and emerging from coccoons. They also examine mealworms. || CVNP offers a variety of Junior Ranger programs to families and groups during the summer, and a limited menu to families throughout the year. In 2007 we had a Parks as Classrooms grant to develop pilot programs on working farms on park property. This program, Butterfly's Breaksfast, explores the lives of insects and their roles on farms.
