A carved relief of marching soldiers and horse with rider stands at the end of a level lawn, surrounded by tall hedges.
The original plaster cast of Saint-Gaudens Shaw Memorial was added to to the lawn in 1959, and it was recast in bronze in 1997. The turf in this designed landscape in maintained to Class A1 standards.
