Pawtucket Dam Repairs, July 27, 1915

A photo showing workers on the dam

It is late in the day and workers pose for the camera. After 10 days of work, repairs are progressing. An annotation on the photo shows where the repair work began. At the left of the photo on the bank of the river is the Lowell Motor Boat Club wharf where a club member experienced the sudden drop of the river when the dam failed.
