An engraved bronze plaque set into a concrete wall. It is labelled “Guam 1941-1944” and shows a man and a woman kneeling in front of a bombed-out church. The text says “In remembrance of all who sacrificed for liberty. May peace and understanding prevail so that no future generation will ever be compelled to repeat these sacrifices.”
The decorative reliefs at the Asan Bay Overlook were created by artist Eugene Daub.
