Full view studio portrait of Crow Foot, son of Sitting Bull
This item is an albumen cabinet card (card-mounted photograph) of Crow Foot, son of Sitting Bull. The full view studio portrait is 3 7/8 x 5 1/2" (4 1/4 x 6 1/2" mounted) and was produced circa 1875 by On the front, the typed notation on the card reads, "Crow Foot (Sitting Bull's son.) Crow Foot surrendered his father's gun to Major Brotherton at Fort Buford, in 1882. Sitting Bull claims the boy surrendered, not he." On the verso, the photographer's stamp is printed in red ink.
