A plate with a simple scalloped edge. The decoration is blue and white design, and the border is of petals and the inner border a floral motif. The central medallion is a chrysanthemum and leaf design representing the month of October. Mark: underglaze blue- signifies one of the PaPao (Eight Precious Things), part of a group of artistic devices called the Po ku (Hundred Antiques). Symbol of Victory. This plate is Imperial China, not intended to be exported.
