John P. Cable Blacksmith Shop, 1956. This reconstruction is 24' x 16' x 12.5' high and is constructed of a single crib of saddle-notched hewn logs with no chinking. Side-gable roof is covered with wood shingles. Vertical planks cover the gable ends, a single batten door provides access, and the shop is supported on isolated fieldstone pads.
