Aspidium Thelypteris (Marsh Fern) in Billings-Kittredge Herbaria

Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Seven Frond Samples Of Various Sizes. The Classification For This Species Was Very Difficult. It Was Originally Identified As Aspidium Thelypteris. This Name Is No Longer Used, But It Is Unknown Which Genus And Species Names Are Currently Used. Thelypteris Noveboracensis Was Suggested And Then Crossed Out. The Same Is True For The Common Name. Marsh Fern Was The Original Suggestion. It Was Amended To New York Fern, But This Too Was Crossed Out.
