Dunker Church
Church was an objective for Union attacks near West Woods during Battle of Antietam, Sept 17, 1862. Also served as field hospital. Current church is a 1960s reconstruction.

Structure Number: 93 || 35.5' x 34.5' 1.5 story church. 3 bays. 1 door on S side & 1 on E side as separate entrances for men & women. Central chimney at roof crest. Building made of common-bond brick painted white. || Built in 1852 by a Sect of German Baptist Brethren
