Hepatica Acutiloba (Heart Liver-Leaf) in Billings-Kittredge Herbaria

Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Two Different Species On The Page.
The First Is Hepatica Acutiloba Has Four Samples Of Tripart Leaves. It Has Four Samples Of Open Flowers At The End Of Stems. The Final Sample Is A Group Of Stems Which Also Terminate In Leaves Or Open Flowers. Although The Flowers Appear Yellow Now, The Colored Drawing Shows That They Were Purple In Life.
The Second Species Is Hepatica Triloba. There Are Three Samples Of Leaves. They Are Also Known As Liver-Leaf Or Round-Lobed Hepatica. They Were Found By Elsie May Kittredge In Sept. 15, 1919 On The North Peak Of Mount Tom.
