1 of 90 mns in Park honoring NY commands in Gettysburg Campaign. Marks the position held by the regiment on July 2-4. Located on the W side of Wainwright Av., near its southern end. || Mn w/ 2 flank markers. 2 part rough-hewn base, 6'10"x5'4". Smooth cut chamfered shaft, 5'5"x2'5", adorned w/ bronze: bas-relief & crescent, excised inscriptions on E&W face. Flank markers, 2'x1'x1', R marker: slant faced, L: flat topped.
