I am in receipt of your letter of September 7, 1911, requesting a return of the abstract of title covering NW 1/4 of Sec. 14. T. 19 [illegible] 8 W.I.M., furnished by you for the purpose of having Kingfisher homestead patent 335 corrected from the name of George Gray to George Greer, Sr. You further state a contract patent of August 11, 1911, has been received.
In answer, you are informed the abstract of title was required in order to establish the fact that the name of the entryman was Greer instead of Gray as all of the original papers gave his name as Gray. Upon the abstract of title and evidence furnished the erroneous patent was canceled and a new...
