Arrowhead pueblo, Pecos National Historical Park, 2016.
Date unknown. A small pueblo in the region, whose people eventually joined Cicuye/Pecos, is now referred to as Arrowhead. Located on a ridge line at 7,276ft, it is about 300-feet higher than the Pecos pueblo. This communal pueblo has an estimated 105 rooms and was partially excavated in the 1930s and 1940s by Texas Technical College under the direction of William Holden. Arrowhead pueblo is constructed of coursed masonry using shaped and unshaped sandstone with some adobe. From ceramics, it is believed to have been occupied between 1200-1450 CE.
