George Washington Carver History Classroom
A one-room school with tables and benches.
The history classroom is used for curriculum-based education programs or formal interpretive programs. When not in use for group presentations, it can also serve as a self-directed activity and exhibit area for visitors. Programs and exhibits emphasize Carver's quest for education, his role as a teacher at Tuskegee Institute, and issues such as slavery and civil rights.
