Scrophularia Leporella (Hare Figwort) in Billings-Kittredge Herbaria

Preserved biological specimen on paper.

Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Is Just One Sample On The Page. It Is Bent In One Place And Cut In Another To Fit The Page. There Is A Thick Stem. The Bottom Half Has Groups Of Leaves Extending At Regular Intervals. Each Group Is Made Up Of A Large Pair Of A Leaves And A Pair Of Smaller Ones. The Top Half Of The Stem Has Pairs Of Off Shoots Which Each Have Three Or More Of What Appear To Be Flower Buds, Along With A Few Very Small Leaves. The Flower Buds Are Closed And They May Be Seed Structures Instead. There Are Two Colored Drawings Which Detail Different Parts Of The Plant. The Label Is Covering A Small Part Of The Sample.
