“We whose names are hereunto subscribed and seals affixed, commissioners of Excise in and for the town of Junius, do hereby license and permit David Hoyt and Richard Hunt to sell by retail under five gallons strong and spirituous liquors , in the store which they now occupy in the village of Waterloo in said town, not be drunk in said store or in any house, outhouse, yard or garden to said store appertaining until the first Tuesday of May next and no longer, Given under our hands and seals this 25th day of December A.D. 1821 J.
