Two images of Golden Hinde (built 1973; galleon, replica), designed by L. Christian Norgaard, at an unknown location. Vessel is underway with full sails. The vessel first sailed to San Francisco in 1973 to commemorate Sir Francis Drake's claiming of California for Queen Elizabeth I. Norgaard was a marine engineer and naval architect that worked primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area.
