Monument to 157th New York Infantry, indicates position first held by regiment to left of XI Corps line of July 1, 1863. 1 of 90 monuments to New York. Located south side W. Howard Ave at Mummasburg Road. || Monument 6'-8"x 4'-5" base, polished shaft in sarcophagus style design. Mixture of incised & excised inscriptions. Total of 6'H. In need of repointing.
