Artemisia Vulgaris (Common Mugwort) in Billings-Kittredge Herbaria

Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Two Samples On The Page. Both Are Sections Of Stem Which Have Been Cleanly Cut From The Rest Of The Plant. Each Stem Is Lined With Groups Of Leaves And Flowers. There Is One Large Leaf Per Group And An Off Shoot Several Inches In Length Which Is Lined With Individual Flowers And Single, Straight Leaves. The Long Sample Also Has Flowers Lining The Top Of The Main Stem. The Second Sample Is Much Shorter And Is Pasted Upside Down To Show The Underside Of The Leaves. The Top Of This Stem Has Also Been Removed.
