Cape Hatteras Light Station

The NPS maintains an area of turf grass along portions of the lighthouse move path. Foundation stones from the original location are now located in a semicircle closer to the new location of the lighthouse. They are engraved with the names of the eighty-three keepers who served at the lighthouse. Slightly behind the foundation stones is a lighthouse viewing pavilion.
